help children with behavior

Education and Behavior was founded in January 2014 by certified school psychologist and licensed behavior specialist, Rachel Wise.

Rachel founded Education and Behavior to give adults the information and strategies they need to support children most effectively in the areas of learning, behavior, and social-emotional development. Our site can also be used to support adults with special needs.

On our site,, you can find answers to questions like:

“What will help my child focus in school?”

“How can I help a student who is struggling to learn the material in my classroom?”

“Why doesn’t my student listen to me?”

“What is the best way to help my child with academics at home?”

“What should I do about my child’s behavior?”

In addition to our research-based learning and behavior strategies, we have a wealth of information on ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, special education, social skills, bullying, and more!

Visit our free support group on Facebook for parents/caregivers, educators, counselors and other adults interested in discussing education, behavior, and related topics.

Check out our recommendations for the best products, games, and programs to support children’s academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development.

Thank you for that, because we were really kind of lost in the beginning of all of this and you really helped get through it and find ways to help out son.”
